img_0767_1.jpg My name is Julie Hess and I’m the 30 something year old mother of 3 children;  Connor 10, Gracie 6 and Emma 20 months.  I’m married to my wonderful husband of 13 years, Chris who works in the financial industry (don’t ask too many questions….he’s explained what he does to me too many times to count and I still sound like I’m 8 trying to describe what my dad does for a living…”he goes to work and does money stuff….”).  I was born in Long Beach, California and went to high school with Snoop Dogg and Cameron Diaz, but I wasn’t friends or anything, it just sounds cool to say.  We moved to Flower Mound, TX in October 2003 and love it here.  My family is still all in So Cal and Chris’s family is almost all in the Phoenix area of Arizona.  I have never blogged or anything remotely like it, so we’ll see how it goes!

I LOVED the photos. My fav was Emma the witch and I can just hear her say Thank You and scoring big with the Texans. There you go.
This year we had a grand total of 8 Trick or Treaters. We were all advised to close up shop by 7-7:30 because of the “happening” last year. But nobody except me and two others on the block had our lights on, so the vans of children just passed us by. I had two groups, one with 3 and one with 5. I did have one of my graduates and his Mom and Dad come by and My Dear Matthew came her to get dressed as a little grey spider. That was really sweet, then they moved on to ziggy’s down by your Mom’s place.

    Hi Julie!

It was so funny seeing you at the comic book store –what a surprise!!! You probably know this, but I before Christmas I only checked my email about once every six months. Ahhh! I would have known you were here if I had checked sooner 🙂 I decided after that to be more diligent and I now check my email at least once a week — woot!woot! Almost a month and going strong….

Anyways, love the blog and the family pictures are adorable 🙂 Good luck with the weight loss, I’m pulling for you!!!!
